Following a 15 year career in Human Resources and running a global relocation department for a Fortune 500 company, Katherine (Kate) Skelly, Founder & CEO, is in the business of helping others. Kate continued her passion for business and customer service by launching Homeport Stays.
Kate lives in MA with her husband and two children, loves travel and her two dogs.
Karen brings over 11 years experience in process, HR and vendor relations from her past work at a research lab at Harvard Medical School to Homeport Stays. She currently holds her real estate license and excels at finding the best property matches for our clients, while ensuring our customers are well taken care of during their temporary stay.
Karen lives in MA with her family and two dogs.
Megan joined Homeport Stays after receiving her Masters degree and following a 13 year career in teaching. Her warm personality, energy and attention to detail ensures our customers receive dedicated service and the best experience possible during their apartment stay.

Derek joined Homeport Stays after 25 years in Real Estate Investment & Development, specifically in property management ops and corporate housing. Derek takes pride and enjoys working closely with guests to make sure their temporary home is perfect and their stay is comfortable and stress-free. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids, golf, and hiking with his two dogs
Dan’s past experience includes managing companies’ digital marketing operations and holding various management roles in the hotel and hospitality industry. Having relocated his family several times, Dan brings this wealth of experience to Homeport Stays. Dan is an expert in ensuring customer service and satisfaction come first.
Mike brings 7 years of experience in management and training for restaurant startups. He has spent his career in the hospitality industry honing process improvement and creating memorable experiences for guests. Mike is exceptionally passionate about customer service and lives by going above & beyond for Homeport clients. He loves to play the guitar and spend time at the beach whenever possible.

Joe is a CPA and joins Homeport after a career in public accounting at two of the Big 5 firms and most recently running large finance organizations at a fortune 100 company in Boston. Joe is passionate about his family and enjoys playing the drums or spending time on the golf course or beach!
Jonathan graduated from Clark University in 2023 and joined Homeport with many years of hospitality and hotel experience, most recently as a manager for 3 upscale restaurants in Back Bay, Boston. Through his time in hospitality, Jonathan has built on his customer service experience and has learned how to think quickly and work efficiently
